About Abraham Kirby-Galen
I’m a teacher at heart and truly enjoy partnering with my clients to educate and support them in all areas of their financial lives. I entered wealth planning in 2020, initially to help my own family navigate a challenging time, and quickly discovered that this work is both meaningful and rewarding. Before transitioning into financial planning full time, I spent 5 years as a high school math teacher in the US and abroad, which strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently. I received my CFP education from Boston University and have extensive experience volunteering as a tax preparer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. I live in Medford, MA with my husband, Chris, our cat Willow, and our dog Zelda. Outside of work and volunteering, I enjoy board games and knitting, which help me relax and stay creative. This blend of teaching, financial expertise, and community service shapes how I approach my work: always focused on clear communication, practical guidance, and building strong, trusting relationships.
