Welcome Abraham Kirby-Galen!

Please welcome the newest Planning Analyst to the SPP team – Abraham Kirby-Galen! Many of you will get to know Abraham directly in the coming weeks/months, but here are a few fun facts to introduce Abraham in the meantime:

Abraham grew up in Arlington, MA and attended High School at Gann Academy in Waltham
Abraham graduated Magna Cum Laude from Williams College in 2016 where he double-majored in Math and Arabic Studies
He is conversational in Arabic and Hebrew and, after graduating college, he taught math in Madaba, Jordan for two years
For the past 3 years he has been teaching math to High School students in New Haven, CT
He is currently obtaining his Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and will pursue the CFP® designation
Abraham is an Enrolled Agent before the IRS and started his own tax practice earlier this year “Taxes for Beginners”
Abraham has two pet guinea pigs – Frida and Matilda
Abraham has spent his summer learning to hang glide in New Hampshire

As an active member of Financial Planning Associations of MA, Shaun is involved with their pro-bono programs with Dana Farber Cancer Institute, JVS and Compass Working Capital. Shaun is also a member of NAPFA and the XY Planning Network. Our clients are spread across the country, but I live in Boston with my wife Alicia and our three children.
