There is a lot of complexity in the decision to get outside help for an aging loved one.  The mix of technical knowledge needed to get the right help in place with the emotional aspects of the decision itself is sure to add onto an already stressful time in your life.

Then there is convincing your aging parent that they even need (or would be willing to accept) help beyond what you can provide.

Getting help for an aging parent or loved one is something you should have help with.  Trying to navigate what they need, all the available options, family dynamics, and how to even have the conversation is a difficult task to take on your own.
